Home care is professional assistance provided in a person's own home by a trained caregiver. Services range from help with daily activities like bathing and meal preparation to companionship, transportation, and specialized care for conditions like dementia or post-surgery recovery.
When you hire through LFHC, your caregiver is our employee — fully screened, background-checked, bonded, and insured. If your caregiver is sick or unavailable, we work to find a replacement as quickly as possible. With a private hire, you take on all the risks and administrative responsibilities yourself.
Home care costs vary depending on the level of care needed and the number of hours per week. We accept Long Term Care Insurance, Veterans Benefits (Aid & Attendance), Workers Compensation, and Private Pay. Contact us for a personalized quote.
Medicare may cover some skilled nursing and therapy services at home in certain circumstances, but it does not cover long-term personal care or custodial care (help with bathing, dressing, etc.). We can help you understand what your benefits cover.
Every caregiver undergoes a thorough application process including personal interviews, skills assessment, reference checks, criminal background check, and verification of work eligibility. Only experienced caregivers who meet our high standards are offered employment.
We take time to understand your loved one's needs, personality, preferences, and schedule. We then carefully select a caregiver whose skills, experience, and personality are the best match — and we welcome your feedback to ensure the fit is right.
Absolutely. Your satisfaction is our priority. If for any reason the match isn't working, simply let us know and we will find a better fit right away.
We serve Greater Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and the Beaumont Triangle area — and surrounding communities. If you are unsure whether we serve your area, call us and we will let you know.
Yes. Our caregivers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including weekends and holidays. Care never takes a day off.
Simply call us at (832) 612-0472 or fill out our contact form to schedule a free, no-obligation home care assessment. A care specialist will meet with you, assess your loved one's needs, and recommend the right care plan.
